A VR SHORT FILM ABOUT FAMILY, FOOD... AND GROWING UP
Les Petites Choses is borne from a collaboration between Bandits Collective and PICNIC STUDIO. Still very much in the making, together we are building a VR experience like no other. Rendered in dazzling impressionistic style, you will experience life as 7 year old Louis, a kid prone to playful mischief and synethesia.
Set in suburban France, a family of 3 unusual members intricately maneuver their relationship with each other until everything changes irreversibly. Told from multiple viewpoints, you will shift between invisible third-person, God-like omniscience and the dreamy perceptions of little Louis.
Les Petites Choses examines the very heart of the family structure, the fragility of childhood and the human conscience. VR remains an underdeveloped area of filmmaking, so our project utilises the immersive nature of VR to tell Louis’ story in the most playful, imaginative and enveloping way possible.
Les Petites Choses sees technology and artistry merge to produce a truly special project, one that pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling. PICNIC and Bandits are thrilled about this project and we'll endeavour to keep you updated on all the latest goings on. Keep your eyes peeled for more news!
